Quantitative and qualitative approaches were implemented to collect the data from two sample groups. The first group was collected in phase 1 consisting of 669 respondents which could be classified as 380 internship or co-op students, 217 supervisors and 72 co-op job mentors at workplaces. The second group was collected in phase 2 consisting of 12 respondents which could be classified as 6 co-op scholars from Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok and 6 co-op experts from the workplaces. The research instruments both questionnaire and in-depth semi-structured interview were administered to collect the data which, in turn, were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation as well as content analysis. The research results revealed that a cooperative education management model conforming to Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolis consisted of three factors including 1) the principles and concepts of co-op, 2) the objective of co-op and 3) the procedures of implementing the co-op. The details were as follows: 1. The principles and concepts of co-op were based on experiential learning approach and authentic learning approach focusing on encouraging students to learn from real settings so that they could gain graduates' competencies in response to the needs of workplaces and labour markets. 2. The objective of the co-op stressed on helping manage the cooperative education successfully based on the context of Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolis. 3. The procedures of implementing the co-op were 6 steps as follows: Step 1: Setting up the co-op office both in the levels of the university and the faculty, or either level. Step 2: Preparing the co-op students with some activities related to co-op work at least 1 semester prior to co-op work. Step 3: Providing job vacancy for students or offering them an opportunity to search for job themselves. The second semester of the fourth year was appropriate for a co-op semester with a period of 16 weeks. Step 4: Paying wages to students by the workplaces was required. The payment might not be done provided that there was an agreement from all parties. However, the workplaces should prepare job mentors for students. Step 5: Supervising in forms of group discussion among 3 parties all of whom a student, a supervisor and a job mentor should be done at the workplace at least once or twice a semester. Step 6: Participating in a co-op evaluation should be conducted by the workplace and the supervisor. An exhibition of the students' work after co-op work should also be incorporated as a part of the evaluation.
