            "@value": "บทความเรื่อง “บุนนาค ตระกูลสำคัญที่ค้ำจุนราชสำนักสยาม” กล่าวถึงความเป็นมาของสกุลบุนนาคซึ่งมีต้นกำเนิดจากเฉกอะหมัด ชาวเปอร์เซียที่เข้ามาในสมัยอยุธยา และได้รับความดีความชอบจนเป็นขุนนางใหญ่ ก่อนที่ลูกหลานจะสืบทอดอำนาจและบทบาทสำคัญในราชสำนักไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง ตระกูลนี้มีความใกล้ชิดกับราชวงศ์จักรี ทั้งในฐานะขุนนางและเครือญาติ อีกทั้งมีบทบาทสำคัญทางการเมือง การทหาร การคลัง และการต่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงรัชกาลที่ 3–5 ซึ่งถือเป็นยุคที่รุ่งเรืองสูงสุด นอกจากนี้ บุคคลสำคัญในตระกูลยังมีส่วนในการสถาปนากษัตริย์และบริหารบ้านเมืองแทนพระมหากษัตริย์ในบางช่วง แม้ภายหลังอำนาจจะลดลง แต่ตระกูลบุนนาคยังคงได้รับการยกย่องในด้านความซื่อสัตย์ ความจงรักภักดี และบทบาทในการค้ำจุนความมั่นคงของสยามมาอย่างยาวนาน"
