            "@value": "บทความฉบับนี้กล่าวถึงชีวประวัติและคุณูปการของ สมเด็จเจ้าพระยาบรมมหาศรีสุริยวงศ์ (ช่วง บุนนาค) มหาบุรุษคนสำคัญผู้มีบทบาทอย่างสูงในการ บริหารราชการแผ่นดิน ตั้งแต่รัชสมัยรัชกาลที่ 2 จนถึงรัชกาลที่ 5 ท่านได้รับความไว้วางใจให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้สำเร็จราชการแผ่นดิน ในช่วงต้นรัชกาลพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ทั้งยังมีความเชี่ยวชาญโดดเด่นด้าน การต่างประเทศและการต่อเรือ จนเป็นที่ยอมรับของชาวตะวันตก นอกจากนี้ท่านยังมีส่วนสำคัญในการวางรากฐานการศึกษา โดยพื้นที่จวนเดิมของท่านได้กลายเป็นที่ตั้งของ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบ้านสมเด็จเจ้าพระยา ในปัจจุบัน ทุกวันที่ 19 มกราคม ของทุกปีจึงเป็นวันคล้ายวันพิราลัยเพื่อรำลึกถึงเกียรติคุณความดีที่ท่านได้บำเพ็ญประโยชน์ไว้แก่ประเทศชาติอย่างอเนกอนันต์ ซึ่งทำให้ท่านยังคงเป็นที่เคารพรักในฐานะ \"เจ้าพ่อ\" ของเหล่าลูกสุริยะสืบมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน"
