            "@value": "บทความนี้กล่าวถึงบทบาทของตระกูลบุนนาคในการทำนุบำรุงศาสนาบนฝั่งธนบุรีช่วงรัชสมัยของรัชกาลที่ 3 และ 4 ซึ่งไม่ได้มีเพียงการสร้างวัดตามพระราชนิยมเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงการอุปถัมภ์ศาสนาอิสลามอย่างมีนัยสำคัญผ่านการสร้างมัสยิดสำคัญสองแห่ง ได้แก่ มัสยิดกูวติลอิสลาม (สุเหร่าตึกแดง) และมัสยิดนูรุลมู่บีน (สุเหร่าบ้านสมเด็จ) เนื้อหาแสดงให้เห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างขุนนางระดับสูงกับกลุ่มมุสลิมหลากหลายเชื้อชาติ ทั้งชาวมลายูจากหัวเมืองใต้และพ่อค้าชาวอินเดียที่เข้ามาตั้งรกรากในย่านคลองสานและสี่แยกบ้านแขก การอุทิศที่ดินและอาคารเพื่อประกอบศาสนกิจนี้ถือเป็นคุณูปการทางวัฒนธรรมที่ช่วยหล่อหลอมสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมในอดีตให้เติบโตมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน การอธิบายประวัติศาสตร์ผ่านแง่มุมของศาสนสถานจึงช่วยสะท้อนภาพลักษณ์ของสมเด็จเจ้าพระยาแห่งสกุลบุนนาคในฐานะผู้อุปถัมภ์ที่เปิดกว้างต่อความศรัทธาที่หลากหลายในสังคมไทย"
